Siembra NCSB 153: Protecting Immigrant Drivers Organizing Meeting
Learn about Siembra’s three strategies to protect immigrant drivers before state law enforcement officers are trained to operate as ICE agents: public prayer, Defend Your Rights trainings, and learning how to run voter registration and mobilization teams. 
This virtual organizing meeting will cover how to join others in taking action, how to help influence implementation of this new law, and how to plug into the August 8 Day of Prayer & Action in Raleigh. Register for the meeting link.

Siembra NC“We Will Dwell in Safety”: A Day of Prayer & Action
Siembra NC invites us to pray for the safety and wellbeing of all North Carolinians. On June 24, 2026, the North Carolina General Assembly voted to override Governor Josh Stein’s veto on SB-153, a law that requires state law enforcement agencies to collaborate with ICE.
The event will bring people together to call on leadership of state law enforcement agencies to keep all of us safe now that they have this responsibility. More information.
