About This Event: Learn what you can do to turn respect into action

Respect for immigrants brings us together. Join people of many faiths to affirm the dignity of our immigrant neighbors – welcoming, protecting, and standing with them. Through song, word, learning, and witness, we turn respect into action.

This gathering will bring together voices from across our interfaith community for an afternoon of music, prayer, and reflection. We will hear from speakers who work alongside immigrant and refugee communities every day, and we will leave with a deeper sense of what it means – and what it costs – to be a people of welcome.

Program

The event will include:

  • Music and song from across our faith traditions
  • Speakers sharing firsthand perspectives on the immigrant experience and the work of welcome
  • Interfaith prayer and reflection
  • An opportunity to connect with others across our network and learn how to get involved
  • Learn how to turn respect into action and get involved

Full program details will be posted as the event approaches.
